At our karate club, we believe in empowering our students to take on leadership roles and providing them with the opportunity to grow not only in their martial arts skills but also as individuals.
Our junior instructors are an essential part of our community, and we are proud to offer them a platform to develop both their teaching abilities and personal leadership skills.
As junior instructors, students are given the responsibility of:
Assisting in classes, guiding beginners, and supporting our senior instructors in creating a positive and productive environment.
This role is not only an opportunity to refine their own technique but also to learn how to communicate, motivate, and mentor others.A chance for them to build confidence, take initiative, and develop essential life skills such as responsibility, patience, and empathy.
Through continued mentorship, feedback, and hands-on practice, our junior instructors gain real-world teaching experience while reinforcing the core values of karate.An opportunity for them to learn the intricacies of running a class, including lesson planning, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for all students.
Our junior instructors are an important part of our dojo’s success, and we’re committed to helping them evolve as both martial artists and leaders.By providing them with these opportunities, we not only enhance their karate journey but also cultivate the next generation of strong, capable, and inspiring instructors.

With seven years of dedicated training, Summer has earned her 2nd Dan and the title of Shidoin A, serving as Dai Senpai in the dojo.
She leads by example, combining precision, discipline, and a strong spirit in both her training and teaching.
Outside the dojo, she brings the same energy and commitment to cheerleading, embodying strength and teamwork.
Guided by the philosophy "You can only fight the way you practise," she believes that consistent effort leads to mastery. While she faces challenges head-on, one thing she won’t be cheering for is moths!
SHIDOIN DANIEL
About:
After seven years of training, Daniel has earned his 2nd Dan and the title of Shidoin B.
A dedicated martial artist and instructor, he values discipline, resilience, and continuous growth.
His passion for strategy extends beyond the dojo to his love for Warhammer, where patience and tactical thinking are just as important.
Guided by the philosophy "What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger," Daniel pushes himself and his students to overcome challenges and improve with every session. While he believes in hard work and perseverance, he has little patience for self-entitlement—respect and effort always come first.

With eight years of dedicated training, Eloise has earned her 2nd Dan and the title of Shidoin B. She brings a strong sense of discipline and focus to her training, always striving for precision and improvement. Outside the dojo, she enjoys playing bass guitar, appreciating the balance between rhythm and control. Eloise values meaningful interactions and approaches every moment with mindfulness, living by the philosophy: "Treasure every encounter, for it will not recur." A thoughtful and determined junior instructor, she is always ready to support others—though she has little patience for irrationality!

With nine years of dedicated training, Quinn has earned his 2nd Dan and the title of Shidoin B. Passionate about weapon training, he constantly pushes himself to refine his technique and expand his skills. His perseverance and determination embody his favourite quote: "Fall down seven times, get up eight." A committed junior instructor, Quinn leads by example, encouraging students to embrace challenges and grow through discipline and hard work. Outside the dojo, he keeps his focus sharp—just don’t offer him olives!.

Her calm and encouraging approach makes her an excellent mentor, especially for those looking to build confidence in their karate journey. She is a valued member of our teaching team, always striving to inspire and uplift those around her.

Charlotte has been training for six years, earning her 1st Kyu and stepping into the role of a junior instructor. Passionate about both karate and football, she brings energy and determination to everything she does. Guided by the philosophy "Spirit first. Technique second!" she believes that true skill comes from dedication and heart. While she thrives in the dojo, she’s not a fan of early mornings—but once she’s up, she gives 100% to every challenge she faces!

Known for his positive attitude and commitment, Oscar encourages students to learn from their mistakes and keep improving, living by the saying: "Even monkeys fall from trees." He values respect and discipline in the dojo and is quick to challenge any disrespectful behaviour, helping to create a supportive and focused training environment.

With five years of training, Phoebe has earned her 2nd Kyu and is growing into her role as a junior instructor. Passionate about both karate and football, she brings determination and focus to everything she does. Known for her quiet yet strong presence, she lives by the phrase: "Silent but deadly." Whether in the dojo or on the field, she lets her skills speak for themselves.

She brings focus and creativity to her training, always looking for ways to improve and help others grow.
A big fan of Lego, she enjoys building both in and out of the dojo—whether it’s techniques or brick creations. Inspired by Muhammad Ali’s famous words, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!", she blends agility with precision in her karate. While she’s fearless in the dojo, dogs are another story!

With eight years of training, Angela has earned her 2nd Kyu and is growing into her role as a junior instructor. She combines precision and creativity in both her karate and her love for maths and art. Guided by the philosophy "Kokoro – heart, mind, spirit," she believes true strength comes from balance and determination. While she faces every challenge with focus and resilience, heights are one obstacle she’d rather avoid!
