LITTLE NINJAS

Little Ninjas is a special programme designed for our younger students aged between 4 and 5 years old.

We believe every child should have an opportunity to try karate. It’s great exercise, great fun, and provides many benefits.

At this age, your child is developing fast, but can often find the mainstream classes too hard or challenging to follow, as well as a structured exam syllabus on top, so we've taken away the exam syllabus and the formality of classes and thrown in a lot of fun.

Our classes begin with fun warm-ups followed by what we call Kihon work — these are foundational exercises designed to get your child working through the basics of karate. On top of this, we provide a lot of pad work, stance, balance, and speed exercises, so we're giving your child a well-balanced workout.

Karate has many benefits for your child, mental as well as physical. We look to enhance your child’s coordination, balance, listening skills, discipline, self-esteem, and confidence, to name but a few.

Throughout your child’s training, they will reach different milestones in developing their karate. When they have reached certain points, they are awarded a certificate of achievement and a black stripe on their belt, in recognition of their hard work and progress.

What happens after Little Ninjas? Once your child is proficient in their Kihon work and we feel they are ready and old enough, they can move up to the main club.

All classes are pay as you go, no booking required, just turn up and train. Your first class is free to make sure you like what we do.
